Terms of use for the talk-IT forum
These are the terms for using the talk-IT forum. Your continued use of the forum signifies your agreement to them. You also understand that the terms of use; or parts of, may change from time to time and that it is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with such changes.
General
. The talk-IT forum offers or provides a number of topical boards that collectively covers a wide range of subjects to which registered members can both submit threads and respond to threads.
. Casual visitors of the talk-IT forum can freely browse the forum's pages and read threads but only members can post threads and respond to them. To become a member, simply click on the 'Register' link and follow the prompts.
. The talk-IT forum is free to use, that is registered members can use all functionality of the forum without any charge, however, premium features/services may be offered for a nominal fee in the future.
. The talk-IT forum is moderated, however moderators may not be experts in the subject areas covered and so members' discretion is appreciated. New moderators may be wanted on a volunteer basis in the future.
. The following type of content in threads and responses to threads cannot be posted under any circumstances:
Content that is racist or sexist or obscene, whether textual or graphical. Content that amounts to hate speech in any way. Content that amounts to harassment of other users. Content that is libellous or defamatory. Content that is deliberately false or misleading. Content that attempts to impersonate or plagiarize another individual or organisation without consent. Flood-posting either manually or by using scripts/bots; that is posting multiple topics or replies to topics on the-fly or in quick succession. Users that do so will have their threads and or responses to threads removed for a first offence. For a second offense the user will be formerly warned. Upon a third offence the user will be banned!
